Anderson County Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) has added a new ambulance to its fleet thanks to a Rural EMS Program grant for $194,450, awarded by the Patterson Family Foundation.

After a vital 20-day deployment in regions impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton, Anderson County Hospital welcomed home its EMS crews this week.

Sixteen-year-old Cheri Rich has sewn more than 200 drain bags for Saint Luke's mastectomy patients as a way to give back to other families who are fighting the battle against cancer.

Fabian Hardy has been healthy all his life: he served in the military, he consistently ate well – including fruits and vegetables – exercised, saw his doctor regularly and had a clean bill of health.
