KMBC: Chiefs Fan Reunites with Team That Saved Her After Blood Clots Sent Her to the ER

Two years after suffering a life-threatening scare, a local 23-year-old came back to Saint Luke's Hospital to thank the team that helped save her.

Amanda Steinbach visited the Cardiovascular ICU team who cared for her after doctors found she had thousands of blood clots in her lungs. 

KMBC was there for the happy reunion and talked to Dr. Jacob Shepherd, a hospitalist at Saint Luke's, about the day Amanda first came to the hospital.
