Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute has reached an incredible milestone of successfully completing 1,000 heart transplants.

KCTV talked to Dr. Jessica Heimes, surgical director of cardiac transplantation at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, about what sets Saint Luke's apart in the region for advanced heart failure and transplant.
