Community Commitment

Community Collaborations

Saint Luke’s collaborates with trusted, well-known community organizations to improve the health and well-being of Kansas City communities and beyond.

We work with a wide variety of organizations focused on improving the social drivers of health, including housing, access to food, transportation, social connections, and neighborhood safety. We have increasingly recognized that these factors contribute significantly to our patients’ health outcomes and can act as roadblocks to patients achieving their best possible health.

By collaborating with community organizations, we can help our patients better navigate the social care system and in turn have better health outcomes.

Community collaborators have included:

  • Bishop Sullivan Center
  • Community Assistance Council
  • Catholic Charities of Kansas City & St. Joseph
  • Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas
  • Community Services League
  • Harvesters Community Food Network
  • Kanbe’s Markets
  • KC Shepherd Center
  • Metro Lutheran Ministries
  • Northland Health Care Access
  • Northland Shepherd Center
