Allen County Regional Hospital Auxiliary

As a part of the Allen County Regional Hospital Auxiliary, you’ll experience a welcoming environment with the opportunity to volunteer in ways which complement your interests and skills.

Our volunteers support the hospital and community in many ways, including:

  • Serving as hospital ambassadors and front desk staff
  • Organizing fundraising events, including the annual Memory Tree project, seasonal pie and poinsettia sales, and other special one-day sales events
  • Managing and staffing the hospital gift shop, open Monday–Friday from 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Crafting meal tray favors and handsewn items to support patient care
  • Hosting and attending meetings and social events
  • Supporting community blood drives

  • Actively engaging with the Hospital Volunteers of Kansas (HVK), a state-level association for hospital auxiliaries

In addition to the satisfaction that comes with serving others, volunteers are invited to enjoy a free meal in the hospital café during a scheduled on-site shift.

We would not be the hospital we are today without the efforts of our wonderful volunteers.

Dedicated to making a difference

Since 2023, Allen County Regional Hospital Auxiliary has granted over 23,000 to the hospital to purchase medical equipment and other items that benefit staff and enhance the patient experience.

The Auxiliary also offers up to eight $500 scholarships to area students enrolled in health care-related degree or certification programs.
