Saint Luke’s Health System has partnered with Emmi Solutions to provide a series of interactive patient education programs to help you further understand your medical care. You simply need internet access and a computer, smart phone, or mobile device.

Before your scheduled hospital visit or test, you will receive an email from Emmi with a link to access the educational content. You may also receive an automated phone call with information about how to access Emmi.

Why should I watch an Emmi program?
If you’ve researched health care information online, then you know how much of it is out there. That information isn’t always updated, and can even be inaccurate.
Emmi’s information is accurate, appropriate, regularly updated, and can answer common questions you might think of long after your appointment. It can also help you with questions that will help you get more specific information from your provider, or help you answer questions privately you might feel are embarrassing.
How does Emmi work?
All you need is internet access and a computer, tablet, or smart phone. You may also share these programs with friends and family. Each program takes about 20 minutes to watch, and you can view them as often as you like.
The programs are also interactive, so you can pause at any time or go back to review previous information. Emmi even has a tool that lets you type out notes and questions that you can print at home and bring to your next appointment. At the end of the program, you can also choose to print the entire program.
How long does it take?
Most programs take around 20 minutes on average to complete.
What if I’m not comfortable with computers?
Emmi is user friendly. It also offers phone support and a technical support team through live chat to answer any questions. You can also share your code and link with a family member, friend, or caregiver if you need help.
Can I watch a program without an access code?
Not all programs require a referral and access code. Ask your doctor or health care provider which program is right for you.
