Biography

Stephen E. Griffith, M.D., is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Saint Luke's Hospital. He is a specialist in the area of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. Dr. Griffith attended medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and went on to complete his neurosurgery residency at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He performed his fellowship training at Oregon Health and Sciences University. 
 
Dr. Griffith offers expeditious consultation and neurosurgical expertise in the areas of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery for Parkinson's disease and essential tremor, as well as comprehensive evaluation and treatment for trigeminal neuralgia and other facial pain syndromes.  He performs endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery, as well as ulnar nerve surgery.  Dr. Griffith also practices epilepsy surgery, brain tumor surgery, as well as spine surgery and trauma neurosurgery.
