Transplant Nephrologist, Kansas City, MO

Saint Luke’s Hospital, a principal teaching affiliate of University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, is currently seeking a Transplant Nephrologist for its rapidly expanding Kidney Transplant Program. The kidney transplant program began in 1969 and was the first program in the metropolitan area.

The position will involve patient care, education and research. Anticipated effort distribution is 90 percent patient care, 5 percent teaching, and 5 percent research. Academic appointment at the University of Missouri–Kansas City is available commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical, organizational and communication skills. He/she should be articulate, approachable and collaborative both with internal and external constituents. The candidate will share in responsibility for patient selection conferences, kidney transplant clinic, satellite clinic development and outreach efforts.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be BC/BE
  • Have completed ACGME Accredited Residency Training program
  • Have completed an AST certified Transplant Fellowship
  • Have or be eligible for a Missouri and Kansas Medical Licenses
