Medical Oncologist, Kansas City, MO

Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute in Kansas City is seeking a medical oncologist to lead a multidisciplinary GI oncology program. Academically focused, QOPI certified practice is a primary teaching site for the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and has a robust clinical research program. Collegial work environment with full complement of surgical subspecialists. Excellent compensation and QOL.

The successful candidate will assume leadership of an existing program that includes a dedicated GI oncology navigator, weekly multidisciplinary GI cancer conference and comprehensive multidisciplinary support including surgical oncology, HBP surgery, CRS, interventional radiology, interventional GI, and palliative care. We also have a strong precision oncology program including a molecular tumor board.

In addition to clinical care, the candidate will be expected to develop a robust clinical research program, assist in development of multidisciplinary care pathways, and be actively involved in resident and fellow teaching.
