Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Kansas City, MO

Crittenton Children’s Center, a member of the Saint Luke’s Health System, is searching for a BC/BE  psychiatrist to join our medical team. Crittenton is a national leader in providing comprehensive behavioral heath services to children, adolescents and their families, serving children from throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas as well as from throughout the 21-state TriCare West Region.

Practice responsibilities will be predominantly focused on care of children in the Crittenton on-campus outpatient clinic. The doctor will also carry a limited case load (4-5 patients) within the Acute Psychiatric Hospital program, established 37 years ago. Varied practice opportunities are also possible via selected work in other Crittenton program areas.  All Crittenton programs are accredited by The Joint Commission, and there is exclusive use of evidence-based therapies throughout.  Care is provided using a multi-disciplinary treatment team methodology, with benefit of nursing and therapy staff whose tenure far exceeds industry norms.

Located on a picturesque, 96-acre campus in south Kansas City, Missouri, Crittenton offers a full spectrum of mental health services, including: inpatient hospitalization, intensive residential treatment, co-occurring substance abuse and mental health inpatient program and intensive outpatient chemical dependency treatment, intensive in-home services, foster care and adoption case management, and the nationally acclaimed Crittenton Trauma Smart® community-based early intervention model.
