KMBC: Local Woman Diagnosed with a Brain Tumor While Pregnant Thanks Surgeon at Saint Luke's One Year Later

Morgan Boyer, 28, is celebrating the one-year anniversary of her successful brain surgery - and no signs of regrowth - after finding out she had a brain tumor while only 27 weeks pregnant with her first child.

A team of specialists, including her obstetrician, maternal-fetal medicine, neurosurgery, endocrinology, neuro-ophthalmology, and ENT, worked together to come up with the safest treatment plan for both her and her baby.

KMBC talked to Morgan and Dr. Jonathan Breshears, Saint Luke's Brain Surgeon, about her journey.
