KCTV: Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists help women with diabetes become pregnant

A treatment at Saint Luke's is giving women with Type 1 diabetes a better chance to become mothers.


KCTV5 reporter, Jessica Reyes, sat down with a woman who says it worked for her. If you're Type 1 diabetic and trying to get pregnant, Dr. Devon Ramaeker, a specialist at Saint Luke’s Maternal Fetal Medicine at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas says you no longer have to be scared.

The mother talks about how it worked for her and picking a doctor you trust through the process.

Stephanie's husband, Jordan, talks about what it was like watching his wife go through the treatment.
