Iola Register: Allen County Regional Hospital ready for changeover

Saint Luke's Health System will assume management of Allen County Regional Hospital on July 1, 2020.

The Iola Register covered the last Allen County Regional Hospital Board of Trustees meeting where the hospital's new administrator, Elmore Patterson, was introduced.

"I'm glad to be here. This is a golden opportunity," Patterson said. "It was good meeting people. I know everyone is excited. I know these are troubled times with COVID-19, but we're going to work through it. Regardless of what name is on the sign, we have a commitment to this community and we're going to stay committed to this community by providing high quality health care."
