HerLife Magazine: Dr. Karen Florio is an advocate for women and high-risk pregnancies

January 10, 2017

The January 2017 issue of HerLife Magazine captures the story of Dr. Karen Florio at Saint Luke's Maternal-Fetal Medicine perfectly. She carried a high-risk pregnancy herself, so she understands the challenges faced by those moms and families. She helped found the Heart Disease in Pregnancy program at Saint Luke's Hospital. Today she celebrates the life of her son, Rocco, and champions women who have been told they are too high risk to be pregnant. She walks through every step of high-risk pregnancies with a smile, and is a hero to her patients.
