FOX4: Physicians Concerned About 'Little League Shoulder' in Younger Patients

Doctors at Saint Luke's say they are seeing shoulder pain in athletes starting at younger ages than in the past.

Jaxon Clapper, a 14-year-old baseball player, is just one patient dealing with a condition called "Little League Shoulder." 

"When I threw my hardest, I knew something was wrong,"  Jaxon said. "I've had injuries in the past, and it takes time out of training."

FOX4 talked to Dr. Randall Goldstein, a pediatrician and sports injury specialist with Saint Luke's, about the condition and what parents and young athletes can do to prevent these types of injuries.
