Support Life-Changing Efforts

Your gift to the Saint Luke’s Hospital Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer can help patients enjoy more of life’s important moments.

Living Life to the Fullest

Lori Voges was diagnosed with an aggressive form of metastatic breast cancer at age 43. The disease debilitated her body, forcing her to a wheelchair to protect her weakened bones. A trip to see Dr. Timothy Pluard changed her trajectory. Lori turned 50 this year and has been able to witness so many important milestones for her family, including seeing her children graduate from high school.

The Saint Luke's Hospital Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer is a national leader in treating Stage IV breast cancer. That’s what draws Lori to travel from St. Louis to Kansas City each month. And that’s why your support is critical to the high-quality, compassionate care we provide patients like Lori.

At the Koontz Center, we bring patients the latest technology and leading-edge clinical trials, helping improve survival rates and quality of life. And we back that nationally-recognized care with services to help outside of treatment, including support groups, spiritual counseling, nutrition planning, and so much more.

Since our founding three years ago as one of the nation’s only centers dedicated exclusively to providing comprehensive care for Stage IV breast cancer, we’ve helped hundreds of patients like Lori live to see more of life’s most important moments. Your generous support can help us continue to positively impact the lives of women living with metastatic breast cancer.
