Saint Luke’s Neuro-Oncology’s highly trained experts have special surgical skills to preserve hearing, balance, and protect the brain while treating complex, noncancerous tumors like acoustic neuroma.

Tumors at the base of the skull—behind the eyes and nose, between the ears, or near the pituitary gland—can be difficult to treat. Special surgical skills and expertise are required to protect the brain, as well as critical nerves and blood vessels in the brain, neck, and spinal cord.

Some patients need outpatient rehab as a means of prevention and avoiding surgery. Others use it to transition out of the hospital. And some simply want to return to their best selves.
