Two Kansas City mummies that are on display at Union Station for the Mummies of the World Exhibit traveled to Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City to undergo CT scans to learn more about their history.

These mummies were given to the Kansas City Museum more back in the 1920s and haven't been on display for more than 50 years. In a quest to learn more about them, Dr. Randall Thompson, Cardiologist and Researcher, has joined together with Kansas City Museum and Union Station to uncover the truth about their health, how they died, and how they lived. These patients could be more than 1,500 years old.

Now we know more about how these mummies lived and how they died.
