Sudden cardiac arrest strikes about 100 male and female athletes each year. A runner at a local marathon passed away after collapsing once he crossed the finish line. "Less than 5 percent of all sudden death in this country occurs in athletes,” said Dr. Anthony Maglaksi, director of Saint Luke’s Athletic Heart Clinic. Dr. Magalski talks about what symptoms some athletes experience that could be life-threatening.
