KCTV: Local Expert Explains Impact of Substance Use on Adolescent Brain Following Charges in Deadly Olathe Shooting

The Johnson County District Attorney’s Office has filed murder charges against six teens after a deadly shooting at an Olathe park.

Prosecutors believe the deadly shooting was a marijuana drug deal that ended in a homicide.

KCTV talked to Amanda Davis, LPC, Director of Intake Services at Saint Luke's Hospital Crittenton Children's Center, about the increase in adolescent substance use around the Kansas City metro and the impact of substances on a developing adolescent brain.
