Kansas City Business Journal: Saint Luke's — KC's third-largest private-sector employer — will mandate Covid-19 vaccinations

Saint Luke's Health System announced that it will be requiring all its employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 30.  

Saint Luke's decision comes as the Kansas City area is experiencing a rapid increase in Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations, leaving hospitals stressed.

"Covid-19 is spreading rapidly and is causing devastating loss. As health care professionals, the most important action each of us can take to end this pandemic is to get vaccinated," Dr. Melinda Estes, CEO of Saint Luke's Health System, said in a Monday release.
