Kansas City Business Journal: KC NWSL lands partnership with big KC player

Kansas City NWSL will have a new area company on the front of its uniforms starting with the 2022 season after entering a multiyear partnership.

For the rest of this season, the professional women’s soccer team will sport the Saint Luke’s Health System name on the back of its uniforms, the team announced in a release. Saint Luke’s will be the official medical care provider for the team’s players.

Included in the partnership is the opportunity for research and innovation that could advance cardiac care for athletes, the release states. One of the providers for KC NWSL will be Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute.
