The Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) highlighted the Koontz Center and it's approach to helping women with metastatic breast cancer live the best quality of life they can in their article "Creating a Place for Late-Stage Breast Cancer Patients."

The ACCC is a powerful community of more than 23,000 multidisciplinary practitioners and 2,000 cancer programs and practices nationwide. The ACCC is the largest association of non-NCI cancer centers in the US.
