Courier Tribune: Saint Luke's North Hospital-Smithville donates Care Van to Ruff family

Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Smithville presented a Spirit of Spelman Care Van to the Ruff family of Smithville. Adele Ducharme, CEO of Saint Luke's North Region, and Bob Graham, auxiliary president, gifted the van to the Ruff family on behalf of Saint Luke’s.

This comes after a December car crash left 16-year-old Kolby Ruff in critical condition, leaving him with multiple broken bones and a severe traumatic brain injury. Before the van donation, Kolby's family was concerned about wheelchair transportation during his outpatient treatment and were worried he may have to remain at an in-patient facility out of state.
